| The following is basically everything I couldn't fit into a topic of its own. Enjoy! | |
These are some unicorns!!! ENJOY!!! Especially you, Mercedes.
Wow. Thank you Jinna and Peter!! I cannot stress enough how HAPPY I was to receive this. The best Christmas gift... EVER! Hell, best gift! Jinna and I discussed how I needed to create a "Kathy Korner" (the K in Korner is to be hip) for The Buffy Room. I always said I would start working on it... but I didn't. We said we would have a fridge... we said we would have a Celine Dion poster... we said we would have a boombox to play some Cher songs. Well, they decided to buy me one to get the "Korner" started... and WOW that was a good idea!!! The fridge is plugged in and kept running 24/7... it has a few items in there... and they are ALL labeled with Kathy's name. The poster and the boombox are to come later. And oh yeah... she made me a CD with like... I think 17 tracks of Life After Love... so I must get that boombox so I can jam to that song all day long while I iron my jeans (OOO IDEA!). This present totally rocks my face. Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!
This here sign was my last Buffy purchase for the year 2004. I bought it through e-bay... and its pretty when the lights are turned off... and well, this is turned on.
Ah yes... you gotta love little cut-out people. Check 'em out! Th-they're small! And so cute!
At Wizard World Chicago 2004, I met Amber Benson and Joss Whedon. I had them each sign my "Once More, With Feeling" Poster. Click on the picture and see for yourself :)
At Wizard World Chicago 2004, I met Scott L. Schwartz, who played vampires and demons in a total of 3 Buffy episodes and 5 Angel episodes. Totally awesome guy.
This here was a gift I received from Erica for my 21st Birthday. She made this blanket (Sunnydale colors)... I enjoy it so much... thank you.
These are homemade flashcards... replicas of those made by Giles in the Season 7 episode "First Date". He made these flashcards to help Chao-Ahn, a Chinese Potential Slayer, with her training. He said they were "educational". Willow was shocked that he showed her the flashcards... and Dawn only had to say "HOLY CRAP!" after looking at the Turok-Han card. This could be a slight reference to his other drawings for his projection slideshow in "Hush".
Here you will see the Sunnydale High School decal on my back window. I just absolutely love this one. On the passenger side of my car on the back window... I have a Buffy logo, an Angel logo and also "Alyson Hannigan Fan on Board" decal... speaking of which... that matches my liscense plate holder. My car is Buffied alright. Soon I will get personalized plates having something to do with Buffy. Don't e-mail me your suggestions because I will punch you next time I see you online... like this... ==O (thats my arm and a boxing glove on my hand)
This here is a film cell which contained the film for a Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode. I am not sure what episode it contained. It also has a clip of a negative from the film. Thanks Erica.
I have two masks (someday I will get more). You will see D'Hoffryn and The Master. I apologize for answering the door in The Master mask that one day, Erica. Please forgive me. And if Erica is not reading this, that was awesome that time I answered the door in The Master mask and scared Erica. Mehehehe, I'm priceless.
My collection of mini lunchboxes are very neat. The Buffy Series includes: Buffy and Angel, Willow and Oz, Buffy and Spike, Buffy, Season 3 Cast and Season 4 Cast. The Angel Series lunchbox is about twice the size of the Buffy ones... and it has Angel and Cordelia on one side, and Angel and Angelus on the other. I don't put my lunches in these.
Here is the entire collection of Buffy Cushions. They are fun to display on the futon when I am not in sleep mode. When I am in sleep mode, they get piled onto the chair.
I have both Buffy and Angel Playing Card sets. These are very cool... each card has a different character photo ranging from various seasons. The Buffy cards range from Season 1 to Season 5... and the Angel cards range from Season 1 to Season 3. Now, on both sets, it reads "Series One"... so hopefully they release another set with the remaining two seasons for each show. I have not used these for playing... playing cards with yourself is boring... although I have played "War" many times by myself. Its not as fun as it sounds.
I am not a guy who wears jewelry, but I buy it. I bought the Sunnydale High Class Ring of '99. I never bought a ring for my real high school, so I thought it was only proper to get this one. Its pretty awesome. It reads "Sunnydale High" in a circle around the maroon stone and on the band it reads "1999".
For those of you who are unfamiliar with "Pieceworks"... they are trading cards containing an actual piece of clothing from an outfit from a show or movie. I have the Andrew Well's Toga card from the episode "Storyteller" (Season 7). Olaf's Tunic from "Selfless" (Season 7). Fans of ER will recognize Olaf... Abraham Benrubi plays "Jerry" many times throughout the entire series. I am stating this because I love ER. I have a piece of Warren's Jacket from "Seeing Red" (Season 6) (now autographed in person). Its the jacket he wore while he shot Buffy and killed Tara. This is my favorite card. I have a piece of Adam's pants from "Lessons" (Season 7). I have a piece of Lissa's (Ashanti) pants from Season 7's "First Date" episode. Very exciting. And finally I have a piece of D'Hoffryn's robe from "Selfless". This is the closest I get to owning a piece of Sunnydale history since I am not going to spend hundred of dollars for Tony Head's pants (which he is upset at times for wearing), Sarah Hagan's scrunchie or that nun's wimple from Season 5. Now thinking of it, owning that wimple would be kinda neat.
No no no... not AMERICAN WEDDING... an American wedding... as in Alyson Hannigan's marriage to Alexis Denisof. This photo was given to me by Erica, so I had to frame it. I only had this Snowman frame so I put it in there for the holidays and kept it because its not like anyone sees it but me, anyways. Alexis, you are one lucky guy. Really.
Believe it or not, folks, this is my FIRST EVER piece of Buffy Merchandise. This is what started it all. I got this for Christmas of '97... which would have been nearly halfway through the 2nd Season. Actually, me and my brother (Andrew) each got one... he didn't know why he got it... but I knew why I did. But you guessed it, I have both of them today. This one is nicely framed in my Buffy Room... the other one got a little ruined... due to being hung directly above a fish tank containing six piranas. The water evaporitazation (?) wrecked the bottom and made it all crinkly like. This poster, however, was not thrown away... oh no. It hangs in the hallway of my apartment so my neighbor can view it everytime she goes in an out of our building. Aren't I nice?
"I know what fear is and I smell it right now" is what my Angel poster reads. Katie loves that quote. This one time (not at Tall Oaks) I had my Buffy and Angel poster on both sides of my TV and it looked neat. But I have moved the TV since then and it was better to split them up. Someday they will reunite.
"Say you're happy now... Once More With Feeling!". Words cannot express how important this poster is to me. It is the poster of my favorite Buffy episode... the musical. Just click on the image and observe for several minutes... then hit "back" and check out the rest of my site.
NOW THIS... is American Wedding. I love this poster because this is one of my favorite movies of all time. Alyson Hannigan at her best (well, actually I liked her better in American Pie 2)... even though she is not in this film as much as she SHOULD be. But still... I was pleased. I saw this movie seven times in the theater (of course its no seeing Attack of the Clones eleven times) and of course I have it on DVD and have watched it many many times and many many more times to come.
Now when I first got my big screen TV... I named it Bruce Almighty... after the movie with the same name. But now, since the Buffy Room is better than ever... its officially David. As in David Boreanaz. Because of the fun.
This was my first life size cardboard stand up. I could not resist putting the Sunnydale High shirt on her. It looks awesome that way. But she looks better with Angel by her side (especially instead of Spike :P ) (oh my joss, did I just type a sideways smiley with a tongue sticking out?). But anyways.
Here are my prides and my joys. Buffy, Angel and Spike... all cardboardy. They are usually always kept in this position unless a "Spuffy" fan comes over then I have to make an exception. Thats it for this part.
No, not Jenny, but actual monthly calendars. I have 2003 and 2004. Soon I will be getting 2005. I still keep my older one hanging up. Its in my bathroom stuck on February... which has Buffy & Angel couple photos.
This here is what I like to call an "Erica Special". She made this for me. I was AMAZED at how awesome it was and requested more. This one is of Angel and Spike containing pictures and quotes from Season 5 of Angel. The front reads... Spike: "Yeah. Here's the thing. Could use a little walkin around money. How bout a few hundred?" Angel: "How bout no?" Spike: "Typical, you cheap sod. Right, then. Settle for some wheels." Angel: "If it's gonna get you out of here faster, fine. Just not the Viper." Spike: "Viper it is, then."... "Any message for Buffy?" Angel: "Tell her you're a moron." And then she wrote "Here endeth the lesson" at the bottom.
Another great gift from Erica. Rupert was given to me in November (if I am not mythtaken), and Jenny arrived on Christmas (as a gift from Erica and her sister, Morgan). Both of them haven't left each other's side since. Jenny was made at the Build-A-Bear thingie and the framed picture shows her being created by Erica and Morgan. Lovely.

You'd think I would have a fridge and nothing Buffy related on it?
This is just a simple picture printed off of my computer and I found this cool maroon and gold (Sunnydale colors) frame at Hobby Lobby. I was going for a Sunnydale theme for my bathroom when I moved in, so I had to put it in there to match the toilet seat, toilet mat, sink mat, shower curtain and the towels.
For those hardcore fans out there... you will notice this sticker on the counter of the Magic Box. Its a little blurry in the screen cap shown here but it gives you an idea where to look when watching your next Buffy epiusode (this is a typo, but I wanted to keep it anyways to show everyone that, yes, I too make mythtakes sometimes). No Buffy fan can live without it, or at least I can't.
I met Adam Busch and his band, Common Rotation on July 7th 2004. I had about a 20 minute conversation with him and the band about Buffy, The Jury and of course... their band. He signed my Pieceworks card of him and signed, along with Jordan Katz and Eric Kufs, my Common Rotation logo sticker. Easily the greatest night of my life. Although, I am about to meet Amber in Chicago on August 13th-15th... and see Joss Whedon... SO WHO KNOWS!?
Here are my official Amber Benson autographed items. She wrote, produced, directed and starred in her own film, "Chance"... which is only available through her website (unless you go to eBAY for morons who sell their only copy on there). This movie is SO AWESOME. It also stars James Marsters, David Fury, Andy Hallett and the real-life-wife of Nicholas Brendon. I got the DVD, the poster (signed) and the photo (signed) and I am VERY pleased. Thanks Amber! KEEP IT UP! WE NEED MORE!
Now this isn't part of my collection... because it was a gift for Erica. Its personalized just for her.
I say "... sort of" because its not REALLY D'Hoffryn... but my Angel stand up disguised as D'Hoffryn. I put the mask on David, as well as this cool brown coat I had to resemble a D'Hoffryn look-a-like. I think I did pretty good. And because I am an ER fan, I had to put the stethescope around his neck. "Why", you ask? Because I just told you I am also an ER fan. The last picture is the D'Hoffryn Bust that I created by using the NesQuik Inflatable Milk Chug I have. I think it looks neat. Do you?
Andrew's Season 7 episode, "Storyteller", is a gem. A Josssend, if you will. I HAD to make the storyboard he made out of the dry erase board and markers. Now, its not EXACT... and I do know the bringers are smaller in my version compared to everything else, but it was the first thing that I made and it turned out so well I didnt want to have to redo it once I noticed it was smaller than everything else. I think my version is good. So does somebody else.
This is where the disclaimers would be saying that I have no affiliation with FOX and The WB and UPN and Joss Whedon and that the Buffy name is copywrited and this is not an official site for Sarah Michelle Gellar or David Boreanaz or the elderly woman who played Wig Lady in "DoubleMeat Palace" whom I think was in the movie Romy & Michele's High School Reunion but I am not certain, because usually Brent is the guy who goes into Research Mode to find that out, not me, I just continue to think that a person is in something even if they may not be... but anyways...
